I have her original box; the majority of her stock; or she can be sold nude;
She is in excellent condition, no modifications; her hair has been washed twice; but only to keep the hair in it's beautiful condition as it was when I bought her.
I bought her Sept 08; brand new;
and she has been played with; but she's in excellent condition no markings or damage. Her makeup is still perfect no scratches.
I'm thinking of selling her, but I just wondered if there was anyone interested on here; before I either put her on ebay or logged back into my TIB account name and tried to sell her on there.
I can take photos if you want them; but she is in factory condition ! :D
I'll miss her once she is gone, as she is my first and only blythe, but I just don't give her the attention she deserves. ;x;
So yes; this is a mere is anyone interested? We can talk prices and stuff then; I'm not going to sell her for a lot; about 70£ / $110.

After the Chinese zodiac horse for my auntie, I had enough of Amigurimi for a while [gasp!]. Some of the mojo came back with the Blue Totoro, and by the time I had remodelled Pucca from a pattern I did not like entirely, amis were back on my mind.
Still want to design that Cheshire Cat in time for Tim Burton's Alice though...

ok, so I was going through the AFRMA site, looking for some nice neat information to spread around at my animal shelter, and I came across this informational article:

It seems ok, except for the part under housing. It says you can keep 2 female rats in a 15 gallon tank just fine, and two female mice in a 5 gallon tank fine.
Is it just me or does that seem too small?? -.-;

Okie here's what is up.
I am have horrible horrible guilt and it's all because they keep looking at me with their little rattie-puppy dog eyes!
I have a cage big enough for six rats (according to the calculator) They're been out for 5+ hours today. I need to finish up my thesis lit review which is due Monday. I should not feel guilty but they keep looking at me with pitiful ratty eyes

I've had ten rats, almost all boys, and i STILL find myself surprised at how big they get. I swear that Monty doubles in size when I'm not looking at him.

I went looking through my paperwork to find the adoption certificates for my pair of sisters (they are getting a bit lumpy and I wanted to see if they had turned 2 yet), and I found the vet bills for my Lily, who went to the Bridge last summer. On a whim, I added them up, which included one tumor removal, 2 tooth extractions (the last 2 months of her life she started growing extra teeth!), various abscess cleanings from the extra teeth growing through the skin of her jaw, multiple doses of metacam, baytril, and, towards the end, opiates, one nail trim, and one tooth trim (serious teeth problems the last 2 months).
Total: $1169.70
I never missed any of that money.
The sisters, Betty and Dita, are fairly healthy for 2 years olds, though they are starting to get lumpy. The vet took a cystology from Betty and told me that the lump was an inflammation of fat. It hasn't grown or changed since I took them to the vet about 2 months ago, and they are both rather squishy, but has anyone heard of a fat inflammation? Other than that, they are still climbing, falling, running, and eating, eating, eating.

Can anyone direct me to a site or instructions on making no slip hair clips? I'd like to make some for my daughters, but everything I'm coming across is books/DVDs you have to purchase or instructions that aren't very detailed or don't include pictures. TIA!

paper trail distro is open again now that the holidays are over, but the break i took made me realize that the distro isn't where i want to put my energy anymore. i knew when i started out seven years ago that the distro had an expiration date--i couldn't keep running it forever. & i think the time has come to shut it down. it's been a while since i really enjoyed the process of running a zine distro, even though i had many good years of reading great zines, meeting interesting people, & satisfying a demand for zines. but all good things must come to and end.
the distro is currently still open. i want to try to sell down as many of the zines i still have as i possibly can. & i have A LOT. though they are going fast--i've sold out of like twelve different zines just in the last few hours. i am doing my best to keep up with everything & make sure the catalogue stays updated. i am only selling zines now--i won't be doing any re-orders or taking on new zines. what i have is what i have, & when it's gone...it's gone. that is why i am sending out this announcement: if you want zines, i suggest that you act quickly, because i expect stuff to just keep selling out.
everything is pretty much the same. the catalogue is up, the shopping cart is up, & you can order stuff, same as always. if you happen to order something that is sold out, i will refund you for the amount of the sold out zine(s).
you can even still subscribe to the distro, though i have changed it up a little. i expect the process of closing down the distro to take a few months...maybe even a year, once the initial feeding frenzy dies down. subscriptions now cost $30 in the u.s. & $40 everywhere else. they're good for two packages over the course of six months (i'm currently accepting subscriptions for april & july). each package will contain ten zines. if the distro closes before your subscription period ends, you will be refunded for whatever packages you did not receive. this is also true for current subscribers.
i'm also going to be introducing some new postage-paid collections as the catalogue whittles away. they'll be up on the distro site. i'm also still posting interviews while i'm closing down. an interview with maranda elizabeth, of "telegram ma'am" zine, will be going up in the next few days.
once the distro is closed, i expect to continue to contribute to zine culture in various ways. i will probably still make zines. but my time as a distributer is drawing to a close.
